Longmont Police Investigate Uninjured Party Shooting


August 27 – Longmont police are investigating a shooting at a party just after midnight Friday night, but officials said no injuries were reported.

Longmont Public Safety spokesman Robin Ericson said police were called to 1800 Meadow Street for a report of shots fired during a party.

Ericson said there were no injuries. Two people at the party were arrested on charges unrelated to the shooting.

The incident remained under investigation on Saturday afternoon and it was not known whether the incident was related to a drive-by shooting in Longmont last weekend.

Police will remain on the scene Saturday for an investigation.
